PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method of punch shape capable of measuring the distance between the central axis of the tip part of the punch and the central axis of a main body (concentricity) with high precision. SOLUTION: A punch 6 comprises a pillar shape main body 61, a tip part 63 and a taper part 62 (c). The central axis 63a of the tip part 63 keeps distanceΔd from the central axis 61a of the main body 61 and is parallel to the central axis 61a. Imaging of this punch 6 is performed from the orthogonal direction to the central axis 63a, and the distanceΔX between the closest point 60a and the farthest point 60b from the tip 63 is measured along the parallel coordinate axis to the central axis 61a in the connection part of the main body 61 and the taper part 62. And, the distanceΔd is calculated from an apex angleθ, the measurement result ofΔX and a formula ofΔd=ΔX×1/2×tan(θ/2). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
