MAGNETIC FIELD GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field generator which can reduce a feeling of blockage while obtaining a magnetic field. SOLUTION: The magnetic field generator 10 has a pair of magnetic pole units 12 arranged opposite to each other through a void G. Each of the pair of magnetic pole units 12 includes a first permanent magnet 18, a magnetic pole piece 20 and a second permanent magnet 22. Each of the pair of magnetic pole pieces 20 has a peripheral surface 20a and a slope 20b formed as if to outwardly expand the void G within the pair of magnetic pole pieces 20. The slope 20b of the magnetic pole piece 20 is composed of a slope 34a of a plurality of annular protrusion pieces 34 and a slope 32b of a swelling member 32 provided on the outside of the annular protrusion pieces 34. The majority of the peripheral surface 20a of the magnetic pole piece 20 is composed of the outside 32a of the swelling member 32. The second permanent magnet 22 is provided on the peripheral surface 32a of the swelling member 32 so as to prevent that from getting out to the void G side from the extended surface E of the slope 20b.
