PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet which prevents erroneous assembly for the holes of a sheet shape member, and enables reduction in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The grommet 10 is composed of a pair of mounting members 11, 11 which are assembled from both faces of the sheet shape member and have the same shape. The respective mounting members 11 have a flange portion 20 to be engaged with the periphery of the hole of the sheet shape member, an inserting portion 12 which projects from the back surface of the flange portion 20 and is inserted into the hole, and engaging portions 30 provided on the outer periphery of the inserting portion 12. The engaging portions 30 have at least a pair of male members 31, 32 and female members 33, 34 which are arranged so as to be symmetry with respect to a straight line passing the center of the inserting portion of the mounting member and fit to each other. The male members and the female members of a pair of the mounting members 11 are configured so as to match with each other when the back surfaces of a pair of the mounting members 11 are faced with each other.
