PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the seizure of a bearing by avoiding the occurrence of a temperature difference between an inner ring and an outer ring. SOLUTION: A heater 11 is provided on the outer diameter face of the outer ring 15 of the bearing 10 for heating the outer ring 15 to be the same in temperature as the inner ring 14 whose temperature is higher than that of the outer ring 15. Thus, a clearance d is held between the inner ring 14 and the outer ring 15 to prevent the seizure. A displacement sensor is adopted for detecting the clearance between the inner ring and the outer ring so that the detecting output of the displacement sensor is used for controlling the heater to adequately hold the clearance between the inner ring and the outer ring.
