<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device and a broadcast receiver capable of setting conditions such as an image quality condition and the like with excellent convenience. <P>SOLUTION: A micro processing unit (MPU) 11 of a digital broadcast receiver comprises: a condition setting section 111 which displays a setting picture on a display 183 and sets predetermined condition through the setting picture on the basis of operation input accepted through a remote controller 2; and a display mode change section 112 which records in a picture storage section 121 setting picture information being displayed at a point of time when a main body setting key disposed in the remote controller 2 is pressed in a state where the setting picture is being displayed, erases the setting picture and displays video information in a full-screen state. In a case where a menu return key disposed in the remote controller 2 is pressed while the video information is being displayed in the full-screen state, the condition setting section 111 reads the setting picture information stored in the picture storage section 121 and displays it on the display 183. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
