PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of reducing an influence of unnecessary light on a captured image.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided that images a subject using a lens barrel holding an optical lens and an imaging device in which pixels for converting light passed through the optical lens into an electric signal are arranged in a matrix direction, and the imaging apparatus comprises: rotating means for rotating at least one of the lens barrel and imaging device in a first direction using a direction perpendicular to the imaging device as an axis of rotation; image generating means for generating a digital image from the electric signal; unnecessary light detecting means for detecting an influence of unnecessary light on the digital image generated by the image generating means; image processing means for rotating the digital signal generated by the image generating means in a second direction reverse to the first direction; and control means for controlling the rotating means and image processing means, the control means controlling the rotating means and image processing means based upon a detection result of the unnecessary light detecting means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
