Provided is a tape-type disposable diaper that has a stretchable tape 1 at both sides of a rear body part of a paper diaper main body, wherein: in the stretchable tape 1, an elastic film (30) that is stretchable in at least a fore-aft direction is laminated between a first sheet layer (21) that is not stretchable and a second sheet layer (22); the first sheet layer (21) and the second sheet layer (22) are joined, directly or with the elastic film (30) interposed therebetween, at multiple joining portions (40) having spaces between each other; and the stretchable tape (1) contracts due to contractive force of the elastic film (30) and can be stretched by applying an external force in an article width direction. Stretching stress differs between a region (A) and a region (B) because the joining portion area ratio occupied by the sum total area of the joining portions (40) included in a unit area differs between the region (A) and the region (B). |
