PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent backlash of a rod due to wear of an outside surface of the rod and an inside surface of a cylinder hole of a chuck body.SOLUTION: In a chuck device, plural rods 7 are radially provided on a cylindrical or columnar chuck body 10 along a circumference of a cross section perpendicular to an axial direction of the chuck body 10, and the rods 7 are advanced in radial direction inwards or outwards, whereby a work-piece W is held by tips of the rods 7. In the chuck device, the rod 7 is accommodated in a radial cylinder hole 9 provided on the chuck body 10 so that an inside surface of the cylinder hole 9 and an outside surface of the rod 7 are advanced and retracted while slidably contacting each other. Further, the chuck device is so configured that the device comprises rod pressing means 20 for pressing the rod 7 towards the inside surface of the cylinder hole 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
