PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape capable of releasing from a thin brittle material without deforming or impairing the material in releasing the tape from the brittle material in a thin film form after processing the material. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprises a radiation decomposing foaming agent which emits gas by irradiating with a radioactive ray in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the gas is released in the boundary of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the thin brittle material allowing the release on the boundary of the thin brittle material and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer by the gas pressure resulting in reduction of adhesive force.
