PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial tire for large-sized vehicles maintaining high elasticity even through vulcanization for a long time, improved in crack resistance while securing heat buildup resistance and durability. SOLUTION: A rubber composition containing (A) a rubber component comprising isoprene rubber and trans-polybutadiene and (B) N,N'-diphenylmethane bismaleimide is used as coating rubber to be used as a belt layer of the radial tire for large-sized vehicles by using a rubber masterbatch obtained by mixing a rubber latex and a slurry solution in which carbon black is preliminarily dispersed in water and coagulating the mixture, where the total weight of N,N'-diphenylmethane bismaleimide and trans-polybutadiene is 10 pts.wt. or less to 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component and the blend amount of trans-polybutadiene is 25-75 pts.wt. total weight of N,N'-diphenylmethane bismaleimide and trans-polybutadiene.
