摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively analyze the solid solution component such as FeO or MnO in the free lime contained in steel slag or the like. SOLUTION: Ground slag is immersed in ethylene glycol to dissolve free lime in ethylene glycol and, after residue is removed by filtering, the obtained ethylene glycol eluate is quantitatively analyzed using any one of an emission spectroscopic analyzing method, a mass analyzing method and an absorptiometric analyzing method and the solid solution component element in the free lime dissolved in the ethylene glycol eluate is quantifies. The mass of the quantified solid solution component element is converted to mass as an oxide and a solid solution amount as the oxide of the solid solution component element is calculated form the value converted as the oxide.
