PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of making fine looking by making the rotation angle of the pointer approximately zero after pointing the E point while making capable of easily assembling to the fuel tank. SOLUTION: The fuel meter 100 is constituted such that after the pointer 101 indicated the scale E, between a certain liquid level position and the lowest position, the signal level from the liquid level detector is made to a constant value, and the pointer 101 is stopped a little out side of the scale E. Thereby, the problem that after the pointer of the fuel meter indicated the E scale, its further rotation and large scale out from the range of the scale E occurs while degrading the appearance is inhibited.
