PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer not decreased in its analyzing processing speed even when a standard sample and a precision control sample are charged. SOLUTION: The automatic analyzer is equipped with an analyzing unit for analyzing a biosample, a rack feed device for feeding a specimen rack, on which a specimen container for holding the biosample is placed, to the analyzing unit, a rack charging port for charging the specimen rack in the rack feed device and the discrimination data reader provided on the discrimination data reader provided on the feed line of the rack feed device in order to read the discrimination data applied to the specimen rack and also equipped with a memory means for preliminarily storing the data related to the number of the standard specimens and precise control specimens charged at a rack charging position and analytical items and a control means for resetting a specimen rack feed schedule on the basis of the data related to the number of the standard specimens and the precise control specimens stored in the memory means and the analytical items when the standard specimens or the precise control specimens are read by the discrimination data reader.
