A construction method of a main pipe for a tunnel structure in excavating a tunnel is provided to prevent accidents by connecting the main pipes linearly or curvedly through simple process. A leading pipe(10) and a main pipe(20a) are pressed and fitted to a ground by using a hydraulic jack in moving a rod of a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder forward. Earth retaining plates are connected sequentially, and grout is spread on the earth retaining plates. Electromagnets(45) are installed to generate magnetic force in applying power to the leading pipe. A non-cut portion and a cut portion(21) are formed in a next main pipe(20b), and the next main pipe is transferred into a main pipe installation region. The cut portion is expanded by magnetic force from the electromagnet so that the diameter of the next main pipe corresponds to the diameter of the main pipe. The rear end of the next main pipe is welded into the front end of the main pipe. The main pipes are connected repeatedly by driving the leading pipe. An earth pressure support bar is installed in the cut portion, and divided into permanent and temporary earth pressure support bars.
