An RFID tag inspection printer and an inspection method thereof are provided to cut down production cost of an RFID tag and to increase satisfaction of a user by checking information recorded at the RFID tag immediately. An RFID tag inspection printer(100) comprises a thermal transfer head(120), an antenna(130), a control unit(140), a feed roller(110), and a display unit(150). The thermal transfer head is installed to print a bar code and a text on an RFID tag(160) and to print characters indicating an error on the surface of the RFID tag when a damage or an error of the RFID tag is detected. The antenna is installed to receive information recorded on the tag and to record predetermined information at the tag when damage is not detected. The control unit operates the feed roller in the opposite direction of a paper when the damage or the error of the tag is judged and controls the thermal transfer head to print the characters indicating the damage the error on the paper. The feed roller is operated normally and reversely under the control of the control unit. The display unit displays the predetermined information by an image, characters, and a moving picture. An inspection method of the RFID tag inspection printer includes a step of judging the damage when there is not a response for a user identification number required by the antenna; and a step of recording the predetermined information on the tag when the response is detected.
