INDIUM HYDROXIDE-BASED POWDER PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for inexpensively producing indium hydroxide-based powder by which even indium hydroxide-based fine powder having poor filterability can be efficiently cleaned and the amount of a by-product remaining in the indium hydroxide-based powder can be reduced. SOLUTION: The indium hydroxide-based powder production method is characterized in that an aqueous solution containing indium salt or indium salt-based metal salt is neutralized by using an alkaline aqueous solution to obtain a suspension, and the hydroxide in the obtained suspension is circularly cleaned by a continuous pressure cross flow filtration method while replacing the aqueous solution content in the obtained suspension with pure water. The mass ratio of the aqueous solution content in the suspension to the hydroxide produced by the neutralization is preferably 3-8 during the circular cleaning of the hydroxide. The liquid temperature of the suspension is preferably 30-80°C during the circular cleaning of the hydroxide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
