PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To balance energy storage amounts of respective energy storage elements in a power converter even in a case where an interchanging amount of a power between an AC circuit and a power converter is small.SOLUTION: A power conversion system comprises a first power converter, a second power converter, a first control device, and a second control device. The first power converter includes a plurality of unit converters. Each unit converter includes a switching circuit that performs switching depending on a control signal from the control device, and an energy storage element connected in parallel to the switching circuit. In a case where at least any one of an input of the first power converter, an output of the first power converter, an input of the second power converter, and an output of the second power converter satisfies an operation condition that is preliminarily set, the first control device controls the switching circuit to apply an AC current that circulates via a DC circuit between the first power converter and the second power converter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
