PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the electrical performance of a switching element such as a transistor device. SOLUTION: An integrated circuit device includes a current driving switching portion, and a second circuit portion integrated with the current driving switching portion. The current driving switching portion includes an input electrode, an output electrode, a switchable portion composed of a semiconductive polymer material electrically connected between the input electrode and the output electrode, and a control electrode which is electrically connected to the switchable portion between the input electrode and the output electrode, and to which a bias is applied wherein the bias changes a flow of a current passing through the switchable portion. On the other hand, the second circuit portion is electrically connected to the input electrode of the switching portion to receive a driving current from the switching portion.
