PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fructofuranoside derivative which is promising as foods, medicines, agrochemicals and reagents and to provide a method for efficiently producing a fructofuranoside derivative including the above derivative. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing a fructofuranoside derivative by reacting an oligofructofuranosyl acylate or an oligofructofuranose with an alcohol in the presence of a perfluoroalkyl sulfonic acid metal salt, and provides a fructofuranoside derivative and a sucrose oligosaccharide derivative.
