<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device capable of preventing the hurl-out of an occupant to the outside of an automobile at a side surface collision and at the fall-down of the vehicle while avoiding a rapid increase in cost. <P>SOLUTION: The air bag device 90 includes an air bag 100 downwardly inflated along a side surface in a cabin of the automobile; a bracket 150 which is, one or more brackets fixed to a neighborhood to a crossing corner of the side surface 120 and a ceiling 130 and also mounted to an upper part of the air bag 100 in which the air bag 100 is turned in a hinge state form at a boundary 160 with the air bag 100; and a strap 200 for connecting the air bag 100 to a vehicle body of the automobile without being sagged at least at the inner side of the air bag 100 at the inflation of the air bag 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
