PURPOSE: A burying type underground cable connector is provided to protect a worker safely from an electric shock by covering an underground cable connected a fixing device and an electrode with an insulation rod cover. CONSTITUTION: A burying type underground cable connector includes a cable fixing tool(A) and a detecting unit(B). The cable fixing tool includes an insulation rod cover(10) covering an electrode(3) and a fixing tool(3a), a connecting bar(20), a slide block(30), a buffering device, a spring, a detecting sensor(60), a controlling unit(70), a switch(80) and a battery(90). The detecting sensor senses the slide block and outputs a sensing signal. The detecting unit includes a picking device with the first cover and the second cover member and an alarming device emitting sound.
