PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standard cell having cell height which is a non-integer multiple of a nominal minimum pitch.SOLUTION: An integrated circuit manufactured by a process having a nominal minimum pitch of metal wires includes a plurality of metal wires, and a plurality of standard cells under the plurality of metal wires. The plurality of metal wires extend in a first direction, and the plurality of metal wires are separated from each other by an integer of the nominal minimum pitch at a second direction vertical to the first direction. At least one of the plurality of standard cells has cell height in the second direction, and the cell height is a non-integer multiple of the nominal minimum pitch. The nominal minimum pitch is a predetermined minimum routing pitch of the plurality of wires and is determined according to one or more characteristics of predetermined semiconductor manufacturing processes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
