Provided is a pull-up type absorbent article (1) provided with a abdomen-side sheet member, a back-side sheet member, and an absorbent body. The pull-up type absorbent article has, on both sides of the absorbent body: first leakage prevention cuffs (34) having free ends located inside the side edges of an absorption body (33); and second leakage prevention cuffs (37) having free ends extending further outward than the side edges of the absorption body (33). A front surface sheet (31) and the first leakage prevention cuffs (34) have folded-back sections (31c) folded from the skin-facing surface side of the absorption body (33) to the non-skin-facing surface side thereof. Sheet materials (35) which form the first leakage prevention cuffs (34) have, on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorption body (33) at positions inside the side edges of the absorption body (33): upper affixed sections (35u) which are affixed to the front surface sheet (31); and lower affixed sections (35d) which are affixed to a lower sheet. The length L1, the length L2, the distance L3, and the distance L4 satisfy the relationships of (1) L1≤L2, (2) L2≤L1+L3, and (3) L3≤L4. |
