PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat slide device for a vehicle, more simply structured, which secures high reliability and has a high degree of freedom for adjustment.SOLUTION: A seat slide device 10 comprises: first and second engagement portions 33a and 33b which have a plurality of engagement claws 32 arranged at equal intervals and are provided in a lower rail 5; and a plurality of lock pieces 30 having insertion parts 41 which are pressed against engagement portions 33 at the lower rail 5 side on the basis of elastic restoration force to be inserted between respective engagement claws 32. Further the seat slide device 10 is configured so that in a state where at least any one insertion portion 41 is engaged with the engagement claw 32 at the first engagement portion 33a side from one direction along an extension direction of the lower rail 5, at least any one insertion portion 41 is engaged with the engagement claw 32 at the second engagement portion 33b side from the other opposite direction; and configured so that at least one insertion portion 41 is inserted between the engagement claws 32 regardless of the position of relative movement of the upper rail 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
