PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water repellent mechanism capable of maintaining water repellency for a long period of time, and a display device and a signal having the water repellent mechanism.SOLUTION: A water repellent mechanism 10 includes: an optical member 5 configured to transmit or reflect light; and a patterned film 1 having a plurality of fine projections formed with intervals on one side. The patterned film 1 is adhered on a surface of the optical member 5, with the one side facing opposite to the optical member 5.
