FIELD: physics, communication.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to design devices for generating high-frequency signals. A method of generating high-frequency signals is based on converting the energy of a dc voltage source into the energy of a high-frequency signal; interaction of high-frequency signal with a forward transmission circuit made from a three-terminal nonlinear element and a four-terminal element, a load and an external feedback circuit; satisfying excitation conditions in the form of an amplitude balance and a phase balance, which respectively determine the amplitude and frequency of the generated high-frequency signals, conditions of matching the load with the control electrode of the three-terminal nonlinear element, wherein the load is in the form of a first two-terminal element with impedance; as the external feedback circuit an arbitrary complex four-terminal element connected to the three-terminal nonlinear element on a parallel-series circuit is used.EFFECT: longer quasi-linear portion of the frequency modulation characteristic, which enables to make effective generation and frequency modulation devices.2 cl, 3 dwg |
