The present invention prevents deposits of sludge in a negative pressure portion of a sliding face. A sliding part is characterized in that a sliding face of a fixed-side seal ring (5) or a rotating-side seal ring (3) is provided with a negative pressure generating mechanism (12) to generate a negative pressure by way of the relative rotational sliding between the fixed-side seal ring (5) and the rotating-side seal ring (3) and at least the surface of the negative pressure generating mechanism (12) is covered with a film (15) of an anti-adhesion material. |
