PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic-inorganic composite particle which has excellent dispersibility in a solvent.SOLUTION: An organic-inorganic composite particle contains an inorganic particle and an organic polymer, in which the inorganic particle has not been subjected to modification treatment of introducing a polymerizable reactive group onto a surface thereof, the organic polymer is composed of a hydrophilic block (A) arranged on the surface of the inorganic particle and composed of a first polymer, and a hydrophobic block (B) laminated on the outside of the hydrophilic block (A) and composed of a second polymer, surface free energy of the inorganic particle, the first polymer, and the second polymer satisfies a condition represented by formula (1): E>E>E...(1), [in formula (1), Eshows the surface free energy of the inorganic particle, Eshows the surface free energy of the first polymer, and Eshows the surface free energy of the second polymer], and the content of the organic polymer is 0.0066-1.0 chains/nmper unit surface area of the inorganic particle.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
