PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of changing a tensile force of an endless member such as a belt.SOLUTION: A steering device includes: a rack shaft which moves in an axial direction to steer wheels; a ball screw 20 having a nut and configured to convert rotational motion of the nut into axial motion of the rack shaft; a motor 31 having a motor driving shaft 32 which rotationally moves; an endless belt 43 which is spanned between the motor driving shaft 32 and the nut and transmits rotational motion of the motor driving shaft 32 to the nut; and a tensile force change device 50 which changes a tensile force of the belt 43. The tensile force change device 50 includes: a contact piece 71 which contacts with the belt 43; and a solenoid actuator 60 which moves the contact piece 71 to change the tensile force of the belt 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
