PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly arrange a lead wire led-out from a drive mechanism part at a bottom of a water tub without applying excessive stress.SOLUTION: A washing machine of an embodiment includes: an outer case having a quadrangle shape when viewed from above; a water tub provided in the outer case via an elastic suspension mechanism; a drive mechanism part constituted by including a washing machine motor provided below the water tub; and a lead wire led-out from the drive mechanism part and electrically connected to a circuit part provided on the outer case side. The lead wire led-out from the drive mechanism part is held at an outer case side fixing part provided at one corner portion in the outer case and extends to the circuit part, and a lead wire lead-out part of the drive mechanism part is provided at a position opposing to the corner portion of the water tub and the lead wire is arranged in a state where there is no bent part in the horizontal direction between the lead wire lead-out part and the outer case side fixing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
