PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conical hula seal capable of minimizing leakage.SOLUTION: There is provided a conical hula seal 25 in which an inside portion 32 of the conical hula seal 25 is closer to an axial line in a longitudinal direction of the conical hula seal than an outside portion 38 of the conical hula seal 25. The conical hula seal 25 extends in a circumferential direction with respect to the axial line in the longitudinal direction of the conical hula seal. There are provided a method for operating a gas turbine including the conical hula seal 25 sealing the gap between a first vane and a picture frame, includes a step of purging the gap by a cooling fluid; and the gas turbine including the conical hula seal 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
