PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint sealer of a building exterior wall which is constructable from the indoor side of a building, and is easily constructed, and is excellent in waterproofness and fire resistance.SOLUTION: A joint sealer 1A is mounted on a joint 21 between wall panels 20 of a building exterior wall. The joint sealer 1A is constituted of: a joint sealer main body 2 made of an elastic body having water cutoff performance; and a thermal expansion fire-resistant material 3 held by the joint sealer main body 2. The joint sealer main body 2 includes: a trunk 4 closely attached to the end surface of the wall panels 20 on both sides constituting the joint 21; and positioning parts 5 extended from the indoor side ends of the trunk 4 to both sides, and respectively engaged with the indoor side faces of the wall panels 20 on both sides. The trunk 4 of the joint sealer main body 2 is provided with a gap 8 extended from the indoor side to a wall thickness direction, and the thermal expansion fire-resistant material 3 is inserted into and held by the gap 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
