TELEVISION RECEIVER SYSTEM WITH SOUND DIRECTIVITY CONTROL FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver system that can divide a sound space in a room by using a multi-speaker in order to give directivity to sound outputs of the television receiver electrically.

SOLUTION: A microphone 201 is placed in a remote controller 200 and directivity is provided to sound outputs without physically varying an angle of the multi-speaker 170 by adjusting a coefficient of a directivity control multiplier 150 placed at a pre-stage of the multi-speaker 170 through the use of a signal picked up at a viewing and listening position for a reference signal.
