PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating system for repair, which enables a smooth and stepwise formation of a coating film thickness from the center to a gradation part even by using a water based paint having a high viscosity, and enables a coating film drying with a high efficiency without requiring an ambitious equipment and cost, and enables even an inexperienced worker to carry out a coating of a high quality at short times. SOLUTION: When a spray gun 1 used in a coating step, a part of the coating system, is pulled to a gripper 8 side gripping a trigger portion 34, a valve part 16 departs from a valve seat portion 15 and starts to open. Since an air limiting portion 18 is provided on the valve part 16, even if the valve part 16 starts to open and a large air pressure is applied, the pressure is timely reduced, which is extremely convenient to the coating in a half-clutch state. In a drying step, a heater pipe is provided by a predetermined distance apart from a coating surface of the water based paint, and the coating surface is heated by the heater pipe discharging a heat quantity containing a predetermined wavelength band for a predetermined time, and thereafter, is exposed to the wind by a fan as the heat is being generated for a predetermined time.
