PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital type radiographic system which can improve the convenience of a radiography operator, shorten time necessary for long-length photography, and reduce the comfortlessness of an object (a patient). SOLUTION: The digital type radiographic system photographing a photographing site by dividing the same when carrying out the long-length photography has a mask plate having an irradiating opening arranged in a front face of a collimator, an X-ray detecting sensor interposed between the collimator and the object (the patient) and detecting the presence or absence of irradiation with X ray, and a mask plate moving means moving the mask plate according to the output of the X-ray detecting sensor.
