METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE POSITION OF SATELLITES IN A NAVIGATION SYSTEM

The method involves using external satellite position data items (42) referenced in an Earth-linked referential system. The items are converted in Galilean-linked system to compute satellite orbits. Forecasts of satellite positions are determined based on the orbits. Internal navigation data items (41) are used in the Earth-linked system for the orbits calculation. The external items are produced by European geostationary navigation overlay service (EGNOS) system or wide area augmentation system (WAAS) or International global navigation satellite system service (IGS).
