<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polymer achieving high-degree electricity-generating performance as a proton conducting film for a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: [1] The aromatic polymer comprising repeating units having aromatic rings a part or the whole of which have superacid groups, and part or the whole of which have fluoroalkyl groups which may be interrupted with divalent groups. [2] The fluoroalkyl group is represented by general formula (2) (wherein, V is hydrogen atom or fluorine atom; V<SB>1</SB>and V<SB>2</SB>are each independently fluorine atom, hydrogen atom or a trifluoromethyl group; and U is a direct bond or a divalent group) in the aromatic polymer of [1]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
