<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement control valve of a variable displacement compressor enabling reduction in the size and weight of a solenoid portion without changing the seal area of a valve element. <P>SOLUTION: This displacement control valve comprises: a valve housing 301 having a valve hole 302 communicating with the discharge chamber 142 of a variable displacement compressor 100, a valve chamber 303 communicating with the valve hole 302 and also communicating with the crank chamber 105 of the variable displacement compressor 100, and a first pressure sensing chamber 306 separated from the valve chamber 303 and communicating with the suction chamber 140 of the variable displacement compressor 100; a valve element 304 having a large-diameter part 304a receiving the pressure in the discharge chamber 142 by opening and closing the valve hole 302 and receiving the pressure in the suction chamber 140 on the first pressure sensing chamber 306 side; and a solenoid unit 315 for imparting a force opposed to the pressure in the discharge chamber 142 to the valve element 304. The displacement control valve further comprises a second pressure sensing chamber 309 communicating with the discharge chamber 142 or the crank chamber 105, and a rod 304b for acting the pressure in the second pressure sensing chamber 309 on the valve element 304. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
