A method for deriving local interface key is disclosed. The said method includes: the variable parameter is generated, and the local interface key is derived on the basis of the generated variable parameter and the correlative parameters to compute the local interface key. The said method simplifies the realisation procedure to derive the local interface key by terminal and saves the system resources. In addition, by combining the variable parameter and efficient derived key information to derive the local interface key, the said method assures the safety grade of the communication between UICC and terminal. |
