PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake device which can detect an abnormality of a spring which generates a brake force without dismantling a caliper body, in the negative-type disc brake device.SOLUTION: In a disc brake device 10, a piston 26 arranged in a cylinder 20 which is formed at a caliper body 12 presses a brake pad by receiving a pressing force from an operation spring 28, and releases the pressing of the brake pad by receiving a reaction force via a release mechanism which generates the reaction force with respect to the pressing force. The piston 26 or a stroke sensor 50 for detecting a positional change of a member which moves to an axial direction of a rotor 70 together with the piston 26 is arranged at the caliper body 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
