PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat resistance aluminum hydroxide particles having both a high dehydration initiation temperature and a sufficient dehydration amount that conventional aluminum hydroxide hardly achieves, and a production method thereof, and to provide a resin composition, a prepreg, and a laminated sheet that contain the heat resistance aluminum hydroxide particles.SOLUTION: There is provided the heat resistance aluminum hydroxide particles which are produced by treating aluminum hydroxide particles with a solution containing ammonium fluoride to substitute fluorine for part of hydroxy groups of the aluminum hydroxide particles and then subjecting the treated aluminum hydroxide particles to heating treatment at 200-270°C. There are also provided the production method of the heat resistance aluminum hydroxide particles, the resin composition, the prepreg, and the laminated sheet that contain the heat resistance aluminum hydroxide particles. |
