PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power tool capable of unfailingly inhibiting striking failures.SOLUTION: An impact wrench 1 includes: a housing 2; a motor 3; a hammer 56; an anvil 57 which is hit by the hammer 56; and a control board 37. The control board 37 includes an operation part 62 which controls the motor 3. The anvil 57 is turned into a rotation mode where the anvil 57 integrally rotates with the hammer 56 when a load is smaller than a predetermined value and is turned into an impact mode where the anvil 57 is hit by the hammer 56 when the load is larger than the predetermined value. The operation part 62 puts a brake on the motor 3 in the impact mode. |
