PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular braking device 10 capable of executing braking control of an own vehicle which takes a subsequent vehicle into consideration when an abnormal situation such that a brake light 175 is not turned on due to damage during a collision, for instance, occurs.SOLUTION: A vehicular braking device 10 includes: a collision determination section 163 for determining the presence or absence of a collision of an own vehicle; a second braking control section 167 allowing braking control of the own vehicle regardless of a braking operation by a driver when the presence of the collision of the own vehicle is determined by the collision determination section 163; and an abnormality diagnosis section 171 for performing an abnormality diagnosis of a brake light 175 of the own vehicle. When the presence of the collision of the own vehicle is determined by the collision determination section 163 and falling into an abnormal state of the brake light 175 of the own vehicle is determined by the abnormality diagnosis section 171, the second braking control section 167 reduces braking control amount at the time as compared with braking control amount when the brake light 175 is in a normal state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
