PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve redundancy of a torque detector in an electric actuator.SOLUTION: A plurality of sets of strain gauge groups having the same structure with each other are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction with respect to a center of a strain inducing element. The strain gauge groups in the sets are connected to dedicated resistance value detection circuits, respectively and output values of the resistance value detection circuits are compared with one another by soundness detection processing means. A resistance value detection circuit whose output value is different from a plurality of other output values while exceeding a predetermined allowable value is considered as an unsound circuit. The output values of other resistance value detection circuits than the unsound circuit are used to detect a driving torque of a driven body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
