Process for the preparation of 2-Acetyl-4-chlorothiophene In the present disclosure 2-acetyl-4-chlorothiophene is prepared from thiophene using a simple and efficient process. 2-Acetyl-4-chlorothiophene is obtained in high yield with purity greater than 99 %.
