<p>A connector capable of reliably preventing contact of chemical liquid, poured from a syringe, with outside air and leakage of the liquid. The connector has a sleeve member (2) provided with a large diameter section (4) fitted on an opening (12c) of piping (11) and with a small diameter section (5) communicated with the large diameter section (4), and has a valve body (3) constituted of a tubular section (9) and a bottom section (10) and having a slit-like valve hole (10a) formed in the a bottom section (10). The valve body (3) is received in the sleeve member (2) and the large diameter section (4) is fitted on the opening (12c), by which the valve body (3) is pressed to the opening (12c) to seal it. The valve hole (10a) is opened when a tube head section (22) of the syringe (21) is inserted into the valve hole (10a), and the opening (12c) and the syringe (21) are connected in a liquid-tight manner when the opened valve hole (10a) is in tight contact with the tube head section (22). The sleeve member (2) has a tapered section (6) for connecting the large diameter section (4) and the small diameter section (5), and ribs (7) are arranged on the inner peripheral surface of the large diameter section (4). The sleeve member (2) has a male thread section (8) on the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter section (5). The piping (11) is a three-way cock.</p> |
