According to the invented dehydration method, the raw lignite is heated up at 60 to 2000 centigrade by means of hot water and/or vapour, and introduced in the form of carbon mud into a full-walled centrifuge whose working space is subjected to pressure corresponding to the vapour pressure exerted during the working temperature. The water retained into the raw lignite is separated by the centrifuge and removed from the working space of the full-walled centrifuge as a flowage. |
