PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary structure which is easily constructed without using a large facility such as a crane, secures a dry area only at a location necessary for reinforcing work, can standardize members necessary for construction work, and copes with construction of any underwater construction including a bridge pier by combining the members together. SOLUTION: The temporary structure 10 is provided for securing a working space around the bridge pier 1 (underwater construction), and formed of a floor board 2 mounted on the periphery of the bridge pier 1, a wall member 3 erected on a peripheral edge of the floor board 2, and a plurality of waterproof sheets 4 covering an external peripheral surface of the wall member 3. The wall member 3 is set up by piling up a plurality of segments 8, 8, etc. on each other. The waterproof sheets 4 are watertightly connected to each other via watertight fasteners, respectively.
