A method for diagnosing the leakage of evaporated gas in a vehicle is provided to prevent lighting of an engine warning lamp when performing evaporation gas leakage diagnosis while an engine is on and a fuel filler cap is opened to fill. A method for diagnosing the leakage of evaporated gas in a vehicle includes the steps of initiating relating variables if engine conditions satisfy conditions for diagnosing the leakage of evaporated gas(S103), carrying out purge control by collecting the evaporated gas by closing a purge valve and a shutoff valve for a set time period(S104), introducing the collected evaporated gas into an engine by opening the purge valve after the set time period(S105,S106), detecting intake negative pressure toward the engine by a map sensor during the purge control(S107), comparing the intake negative pressure during the purge control and normal engine control with each other(S108), and determine the fixing of the closing of the purge valve to output a warning message if the pressure is similar with each other(S109,S110,S112).
