METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING OF VITAMIN K2

Disclosed is a method for preparing vitamin K₂, in which vitamin K₃ is reacted with phytyl halide in presence of transition metal and solvent under N₂. Zinc and anhydrous THF are preferred to use in the reaction. Vitamin K_{2 (10)}, K_{2 (20)} and K_{2 (45)} are obtained according to said method.
